Solar-powered Acousto-optic Alarm Device
I. Overview
In recent years, power facilities such as utility poles, transformer substations, and transformers have become increasingly numerous. These facilities have greatly improved the quality of our power supply; the last large-scale power outage I can remember was a long time ago. However, such a large number of power facilities has significantly increased the probability of external damage accidents. Pedestrians on the roadside, vehicles on the road, and large machinery moving back and forth at construction sites may all be triggers for external damage accidents. But according to most of them, external damage is not intentional; it is just a case of "not noticing" or "not seeing". Thus, installing warning devices on power facilities is an urgent task. Telcom Company has developed the Solar-powered Acousto-optic Alarm Device to meet this demand.
II. Working Principle
The Solar-powered Acousto-optic Alarm Device is generally composed of a strobe light, a power supply module, a high-decibel speaker, a radar sensing module, and an RFID intelligent inspection module. After the device is installed on a power facility using angle iron or hoop-style accessories, the radar detection function is activated. When pedestrians or vehicles enter the sensing range, it immediately triggers a combined sound and light alarm (the light-sensing accessory ensures that the device only triggers the sound alarm during the day or under strong light conditions, reducing the wear of the strobe light). It provides excellent warning effects 24 hours a day regardless of weather conditions. The device can be powered by solar energy or a 9V power adapter, and the power supply method can be freely selected according to on-site conditions.
III. Technical Parameters
1. Power supply method: Solar energy / lithium battery / 9V adapter
2. Sensing method: Radar sensing
3. Warning method: Acousto-optic warning
4. Static power consumption: <1W
5. Sensing distance: ≥7m
6. Sound level: ≥100dB
7. Operating environment: -20℃~70℃
8. Installation method: Hoop-style / angle iron
IV. Functional Features
1. Easy replacement of voice content
2. Automatic mute at night to avoid disturbing others
3. Long working hours in flash mode when battery is low
4. Remote control and self-learning
V. Postscript
Compared with traditional text warning signs, Telcom's Solar-powered Acousto-optic Alarm Device provides both visual and auditory warnings, avoiding the problem that people tend to get used to a single warning method. Moreover, physical text warning signs have almost zero warning effect during the day and at night when visibility is poor, leading to a sharp increase in the probability of external damage accidents. However, the Solar-powered Acousto-optic Alarm Device has a built-in radar sensing module. Once it detects objects such as pedestrians or vehicles within the safe range, it immediately triggers the sound and red light strobe modules to prevent external damage accidents in a timely manner.
VI. Product Advantages
The device has multiple power supply methods, which can be flexibly selected according to on-site conditions;
It can be adjusted to flash mode or auto-flash mode at night according to the degree of external damage impact on site (for example, auto-flash mode is recommended near construction sites)
